Claude Maus clothing evolved in 1999 and was quickly recognized as a new force to be reckoned with in the Australian fashion industry. Two years later in 2001, Claude Maus clothing took a giant leap forward wining the Mercedes Australian Fashion Week Start-Up program. This was backed up a couple of years later in 2003, where Claude Maus gained recognition as Designer of the Year for both men’s and women’s fashion categories at the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. Claude Maus had gone from concept to fully fledged fashion label in the space of a few years.
